Our Mission & Story
JD Auto Washing is a locally owned car washing and detailing business founded by Jackson (JD). Inspired by years of washing vehicles for island residents during summers in Maine, JD Auto Washing provides affordable exterior washes, interior cleaning, and detailing services with a focus on quality, reliability, and customer care.
Jackson is a junior at Cheverus High School in Portland, Maine, where he is an honors student and a three-sport athlete. He competes in soccer, indoor track, and lacrosse, and also works as a summer counselor at Cheverus Sports Camp—balancing academics, athletics, leadership roles, and his growing business.
Outside of school and sports, Jackson holds a non-commercial 5-trap lobster license and spends weekends during the summer helping deliver lobsters to island friends, continuing a strong connection to Maine’s coastal way of life.
When he’s not on the field, at camp, or working, you’ll likely find him listening to 80s music, quoting classic movie lines, or spending time with family and friends.

Do I need to stay while my vehicle is being cleaned?
No. We'll let you know when your vehicle is ready.

Yes! Larger vehicles may have an additional charge.
How do I schedule an appointment?
